The Phoenix 12V 3000VA Smart from Victron Energy is an efficient and reliable pure sinewave inverter designed around Victron's well proven Phoenix inverter platform. It's powerful enough to supply most commonly used mains-powered appliances with a toroidal transformer providing a high peak power surge capacity, stable voltage, frequency and high quality sine-wave output.
One of the key features of the Phoenix inverter technology is the ability to provide a very high start-up power output, easily powering-up difficult inductive loads such as power tools, blenders, coffee grinders etc. The pure sine waveform output also ensures that you can power any 240V electrical appliance with none of the problems that can be associated with modified sine wave inverters.
Built-in Bluetooth allows you to configure and monitor the inverter via the VictronConnect app that can be installed on any Android or Apple device.
Please note: Cables are not supplied. For the DC (battery) connection, Victron recommend 95mm² cable protected with a 400A fuse for run lengths of up to 5m. The 230V output is designed to be hard-wired to sockets or other parts of an AC system. If in doubt with regard to specifying AC cable size and circuit protection, please consult a qualified electrician.

When you look at the technical information in the manual of this device, it is recommended to use 2X90mm2 cable and 2X400A fuse for 0-5 metre cable use. The 2X mentioned here means 2 positive and 2 negative cable connections at the same time.
In your calculations of the device;
Output power 250A at 3000VA
The output power at peak power rating 5000VA is 417A.
In this case, if you calculate the cable according to the 417A power value;
41mm2 for 1m
83mm2 for 2m
126mm2 for 3m
167mm2 for 4m
For 5m you need 209mm2 cable. None of these figures fit the manual. Although I asked Victron Energy in an e-mail that the values you gave for 0-5 metres do not fit the calculations, they did not give a clear answer. In fact, they did not make any explanations, they remained silent.
I use this device in a converted food van. My cable connections are positive and negative 2X70mm2 under 1m.
On board;
4 x 100W 4 refrigerators,
1 x 1200W coffee machine,
1 x 1200W water heater (for sink)
and lighting lamps.
Despite this, the device does exactly what it is supposed to do. All equipment works smoothly, I did not experience any difficulties or alarms.
