This 160W premium quality, monocrystalline semi-flexible solar panel is incredibly light and extremely thin at only 2mm. Its glass-fibre reinforced plastic construction makes it sturdy and durable and the high quality solar cells are designed to get the most out of low light conditions.  It is 100% manufactured in Austria to the highest European standards, using Austrian and German components, is IEC certified and backed up by a 5-year workmanship warranty.

The semi-flexible and extremely thin design of this panel makes it ideal for curved roofs and surfaces where it can be bonded in place. Its high resistance to saltwater environments make it perfect for boats and yachts, although it is just as well suited to static applications such as in off-grid systems, or for use on vehicles such as campervans, motorhomes, caravans and 4x4s.

The textured surface reduces reflection whilst maximising the absorption of light from every possible angle. This ensures that it performs well even in low light of cloudy conditions, or when light falls at an angle onto the surface (e.g. in the morning, evening or in winter where the sun is low in the sky). The fibreglass reinforced plastic used for this panel makes is very robust, whilst the soft, sealed edges ensure its sides are resilient to mechanical impact, helping to avoid delamination.

This panel comes pre-fitted with two 0.9m lengths of 4mm² cross-section solar-specific, UV-resistant cable that is designed to perform well even at high temperatures, with minimal power losses. The cables are terminated with male and female MC4-compatible solar connectors, allowing you to connect to other panels or to extension cables. Alternatively, these connectors can be cut off to enable the cable to be fitted to the screw-clamp terminals of a solar charge controller.

Note: This panel must be used with a suitable solar charge controller and not connected directly to a battery.
