Special terminal clamp for use with ceramic cube fuses with a single connection point that fits the positive battery post. This fusing arrangement eliminates any unprotected section of the cable coming from the battery, giving you maximum protection for your circuits.

This style of fused terminal clamp has a low profile as the connection stud protrudes horizontally rather than vertically, so is ideal in installations where height above the battery is very limited..

The fuse fits over the threaded stud on the clamp and the cable is then fitted using a ring or copper tube terminal with a hole dia of 10mm and the supplied isolation washer and nut. The isolation washer fits into the 10mm hole of the ring terminal and prevents the terminal making contact with the stud, ensuring all current flows via the fuse (if the terminal was to touch the stud it would by-pass the fuse and render it redundant).

To ensure effective isolation, we recommend only using a single ring terminal per post and this clamp fits SAE tapered positive battery posts only.

The cable can connect at 90° to the clamp using a straight copper tube terminals or in-line with the clamp using right-angled copper tube terminals.
