This high quality, popular PV DC isolator switch from Kraus & Naimer enables you to safely disconnect your solar panels from your system during installation and for subsequent maintenance.
The insulated enclosure has 2 poles, so it switches both the positive and negative sides of the circuit at the same time, and can be used with a single string of solar panels. Its typical rating is 450V DC, 25A (please download the datasheet from the 'manuals and guides' tab for the full voltage/current ratings), the door of the enclosure is interlocked so cannot be opened when the handle is in the ON position, and the handle is padlockable in the OFF position for safety whilst carrying out work on the system.
The enclosure is rated for use up to 50°C and has an ingress protection rating of IP66/67. There are knock-out tabs situated in the rear, top, bottom and sides of the enclosure to enable multiple cable-entry options.
This switch suits a wide variety of solar applications including all campervan, motorhome, caravan, boat, marine and most off-grid and domestic installations (check voltage/current ratings to confirm suitability).
