This 6A, C-curve, DIN rail mounted Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) protects an electrical circuit from damage caused by excess current from an overload or short circuit. A 6A MCB would typically be used to protect a mains-powered battery charger, lights and fridge in a vehicle or boat.

This MCB is double pole meaning that it will provide overload and short circuit protection on the live & neutral wires and will disconnect both circuits under fault conditions, even in the case of a polarity-reversed site supply.

This is a direct replacement for the 6A MCB used in our consumer units with product codes P03543 & P03544, but is suitable for use in other consumer unit enclosures.
