Heavy duty crimping tool for fitting cylindrical copper tube, open ended and butt splice terminals to cables with a conductor cross-sectional area of up to 120mm2.

This sturdy yet compact tool is made from solid steel and has a hardened, sprung-loaded punch which holds the terminals securely against the die so that you have both hands free. The punch can then be either hit with a hammer or compressed in a vice to form the crimp.

This tool is great, low-cost option if you are planning on doing only a few crimps and want a solid, secure termination without having to invest in a professional hexagon crimper.

Sold individually.

  • Terminal size: 120mm² max.
  • Material: Steel frame with hardened steel punch
  • Weight: 700g
  • Overall height: 100mm

Brilliant tool, very robust & crimped up to 120sq mm with ease using a bench vice.
Didn't try hammer method but see no reason why it wouldn't work any less well.
would recommend.

This tool is sturdy and well made. I used it on rather thin 12v cable (less than 16mm2 but it wouldnt close the crimp enough for a tight hold. It may work better on thicker cable

Good value for money for occasional jobs - no doubt people doing many connections would want the more expensive professional tools.
