The Dometic NRX 60 compressor-cooled refrigerator is the successor to the extremely popular CRX 65. This 12V or 24V powered fridge for professional and DIY converters of campervans, motorhomes and other vehicles has a fresh design with 58L total capacity, an elegant frameless door incorporating a dark silver front panel, convenient full-width handle and a versatile interior layout, including a 6.1L removable & separately insulated freezer compartment.

Inside there is a flush-mounted touch control panel with integrated LED light bar, with the two shelves, double crispers, door tray, and bottle holder providing comprehensive storage options. A bevelled rear side of the fridge helps maximise utilisation of space on board, and the high efficiency compressor with multiple operating modes makes best use of your available power.

Flexible cooling options

The clever interior configuration offers 48.9L of cool storage plus a 6.1L freezer compartment, which you can easily remove to use the full 58L cabinet capacity for either refrigeration or deep-freezing. All the controls are easily accessible via a touch panel and the advanced electronic compressor controls provide 3 operating modes, allowing you to fast-cool or reduce noise overnight.

Increased efficiency

The NRX 60 boasts superior performance, with the entire NRX range providing on average 9% better energy efficiency than the CRX predecessor series. This is achieved by more efficient compressors, optimised fan & compressor speed controls in all cooling modes (Eco/Boost/Silent), and improved insulation, ensuring reliable cooling in all weathers.

Improved handle design with winter mode

The new design full-width handle enables the door to be conveniently opened from either side, and a smart closing mechanism provides a slightly open position to allow air flow when the fridge is empty and not in use over winter, preventing mould growth and odours.

Smart protection for your battery

The NRX 60 has an intelligent battery protection feature where it will reduce power consumption or shut-down if the battery voltage reaches a low level, to avoid excessively discharging the battery. It will automatically re-start when the voltage rises again, for example, when a charging source is applied.

Compressor fridge motors are sensitive to voltage drop so it's important to ensure that a sufficiently sized cable is used to connect it to the battery. Please refer to the user manual (see Manuals & Guides tab) for the manufacturer's recommended cable size, but it will typically be between 4mm² and 10mm², depending on the run length.
