Anderson Power Products soft shell environmental boots provide water, dirt, chemical and UV protection for its range of SB50 Connectors.
Made from tough but flexible TPE, they are extremely rugged and provide IP64 environmental protection either when mated or un-mated (and used with the tethered cover), thanks to the seals around both the connector and cable entry ends. This allows SB50 connectors to be safely used in external applications and harsh environments.
The cable entry sleeves have graduations shown for both mm² (4-16) and AWG (12-6) sizes to indicate where to cut for the cable size you're using. Polarity markings are moulded into the boot for reference and the covers interlock to keep them out of the way when the boots are mated.
These boots are ideal for a wide range of applications including generators, vehicle charging & jump starting, off-road, commercial and agricultural.
Note: This boot is for use on the source/battery side of the connection.
