If you have to buy a terminal pin extractor, buy these tools, little bit dearer than the cheap and nasty tools on e-bay, but do a proper job, and will last a lot longer.

This is a must have. It will give you an easy life.
Unfortunately not pain-free as the other appendages on the tool can get you in the palm, if you're not careful.
