This Shurflo twist-on strainer filter is for use with the Shurflo Trail King range of pumps and is an essential accessory to prevent debris and other particles entering the pump; extending the pump life and eliminating unnecessary repairs. It is simple to assemble, disassemble, and clean - requiring no tools.
The filter body screws directly to the Trail King pump head inlet port via the 1/2" BSP wingnut, and the inlet connection to the filter is a 1/2" BSP male thread. The strainer is made from 50-Mesh 304 stainless steel and the transparent bowl allows you to easily see when the filter needs cleaning. The bowl can be unscrewed by hand and the filter removed for easy cleaning/disinfection.
The wingnut and bowl should be hand tightened only.
