Miniature battery isolation / master switch designed for panel mounting in a standard 29mm dia. accessory hole. This switch is the perfect solution for isolating domestic circuits from the leisure battery in a campervan, caravan or motorhome where a toggle/rocker switch is not sufficient but a full size isolation switch is too bulky.

As a security measure, the actuator on this switch can be removed at the OUT position.

Useful for preventing battery drain if left for long periods or for isolating the power source in an emergency.

High quality switch manufactured by SCI of Taiwan.

Bad design

Bought this in 2021 and finally come round to fit it and it had high resistance 120M ohm in both on and off positions and doesn't work as it should, waste of money

No CE mark

This switch failed almost immediately at 13.4V 50A. It got very hot and then went open circuit (at least no fire from the resulting temperature).
No CE mark and hence probably illegal in the UK.

These are manufactured by a very well-established, reputable Taiwanese firm (SCI) and we have sold many hundreds of these over several years. We're not sure what caused the issue you experienced, but if you'd like to get in touch we'd be more than happy to provide you with a free-of-charge replacement.

Please note that CE marking is not required for all products; only those product categories that are subject to specific directives that provide for the CE marking. This switch is designed to carry less than 75V DC and so does not fall under the 'Low voltage electrical equipment' definition that would require a CE mark, but we are confident that it would have undergone all mandatory safety testing during the design stage and is safe to use.

Perfect small switch for my van electrics panel.. I needed more than one isolator, and as such these miniatures work perfectly and are not too big, but still obvious. they are good quality compared to others on the market..
