4 position (1 / 2 / 1+2 / OFF), single pole marine battery isolator / changeover (master) switch rated at 200A continuous use. Features a chunky control knob with a positive switching action. This switch also has terminals that enable the alternator field to be disconnected to avoid accidental damage to the rectifier diodes in the case of the switch being turned to OFF whilst the engine is running (connection to these terminals is optional). The switch mechanism breaks the field connection just before the main switch circuit is broken and vice versa.

Used for switching between, or combining, two independent battery banks in charging and discharging applications and for isolation from loads or a charging source. Also useful for preventing parasitic battery drain when left for long periods or as an emergency shut-off in boats and vehicles.

Surface-mounted and cut-out at bottom of switch allows for cable entry.
