High quality branded prismatic cells

Fogstar is a multi-award winning battery supplier whose long-standing relationship with prismatic cell manufacturer EVE has allowed them to develop a comprehensive understanding of the cell chemistry and technical specifications, making EVE the perfect partner for the Fogstar Drift Pro leisure battery range. Many leisure battery suppliers simply won't know which cells are being used at the assembly phase, nor will they understand the grading, quality processes, or the cell configuration. This is why Fogstar has been involved since the inception of the Drift Pro product, overseeing the specification of every component and ensuring each battery contains high quality, branded, and traceable LiFePO4 cells.

Comprehensive battery protection

Fogstar uses a customised 300A BMS from JBD for this battery which contains a wide range of protection features, ensuring optimal charging and battery health throughout the lifecycle of the cells. These protective features include: Overcharge Protection | Overcurrent Protection | Cell Balancing | High/Low Temperature Protection | Undervoltage Protection | Short Circuit Protection. The 300A rating allows the use of high output inverters up to 3500W.

Heater and Bluetooth as standard

Every Fogstar Drift Pro battery comes with a heater and Bluetooth connectivity built-in as standard. The heater takes a small amount of power from the charging source and heats the battery to 5°C, allowing it to charge in temperatures as low as -20°C.  Bluetooth connectivity allows you to view real time data about the health of the battery via the Fogstar Drift App which has been custom built to connect directly with the BMS and is free to download on both Android and iOS.

Seamless Victron integration

Drift Pro batteries come equipped with RS485 and CAN communication ports, enabling plug and play connection with Victron GX devices such as the Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX using an RJ45 cable. This allows the BMS to communicate information such as Voltage, SoC, Temp, Cell Voltages, BMS Alarms, Current Limit, and Charge Voltage Limit directly with the GX device, removing the need for a separate Victron BMV Battery Monitor or SmartShunt. 

Active Balancer included

This battery is supplied with a JK 2A Active Balancer for cell balancing which can be plugged into the battery every 3-6 months to ensure that battery performance is optimised and the lifetime maximised.
