Durite 0-605-00 battery isolator/master switch with a removable key for cars, boats and other vehicles.
Useful for preventing battery drain if left for long periods, for isolating the power source in an emergency, or as an anti-theft device.
Fitted with a splash-proof cover to protect the keyhole when the key is removed.
Continuous current rating of 100A @24V and a cranking rating of 500A for 5 sec.

Note: If this switch is used to isolate the vehicle's starter battery it should not be operated when the engine is running (except in an emergency situation) because there is a high risk of damage to the alternator and other parts of the vehicle's electrical system.

Isolator switch for golf buggy 07 November 2023 | David
I bought this switch to act as both an isolator switch and an anti theft device. It is fitted to the buggy and it works, I have yet to take the buggy out to a golf course (no trailer yet) but I'm confident the switch will fulfil both roles.

Does everything it says. Operation feels comfortable and sturdy. Has shakeproof terminal fixings. I'm pleased. Price very acceptable.
It would have been better if the mounting had some evidence of being splashproof. I put a dab of sealant around the holes to stop water ingress.

Sturdy construction, seems well made. I bought this to isolate a lithium battery from an electric outboard motor I plan to use in an open sailing dinghy, where the switch will be exposed to rain and possible capsize! So waterproof-ness was important. Being able to remove the key is a great asset - so the motor can't be accidentally or deliberately turned on.
