Sold in individual 1.2m lengths.

Description

Flexible polyethylene heat-shrink sleeving with an adhesive lining and 3:1 shrink ratio. In addition to the electrical insulation and abrasion resistance provided by general purpose heat-shrink sleeving, the adhesive lining prevents moisture ingress by melting and forming a seal around the cable when heated. Applications include sealing over crimped terminals or connectors  to prevent corrosion when used in harsh environments (e.g. under-bonnet, marine etc.).

In the size option drop-down box, the first ID is the un-shrunk diameter and the second ID the fully shrunk diameter.

Available in various sizes from 4 - 19mm ID (un-shrunk size).

Note: Sizes are internal diameter, not width when laid flat.

Great stuff

I'm not sure it really has a 3-1 shrinkage ratio; it's more like 2-1, but I really like this stuff. It is tough and thick, so not ideal for small components, but I found it ideal for terminating cables. Uninsulated spade connectors for example are effectively held in position and insulated with this stuff. I used a fan heater to shrink the stuff, and you can see the glue melting after the shrinkage is complete. Overheating the stuff is not good as it seems to swell again if overheated, so using a lighter was not so successful. Great stuff though. Terminated cables look and feel proper with this heatshrink.
